How to become a new member?

New Account Requirements

• $36 Minimum for New Account (Does not provide access to all Credit Union Benefits)
• $150 Minimum for New Member Account (Provides access to all Credit Union Benefits)
• Photo ID: Social Security or Passport
• Recent Utility Bill – No older than three (3) Months

Note: if utility bill is not in account holder’s name, then the following is required

• An address verification Letter – SJCU Bill Authorization Form
• Copy of utility bill
• Bill holder’s Social Security Card or Passport

• Ensure you have all supporting documents and identification as outlined in the requirements section.
• Please take it to any branch closest to you. A member service representative will assist you in completing the process, after which you will be provided with your member number.
