St. John’s Credit Union Ltd is managed by a BOARD OF DIRECTORS, a CREDIT COMMITTEE and a SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE. The members of these committees are all elected at the ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING held every year. Members that are elected hold office for three years. Whenever their term has expired an election is held and members can either re-elect that officer or replace them.
Board of Directors
The BOARD OF DIRECTORS of a credit union is responsible for the general direction and control of the credit union. The board may delegate operational functions to management, but not the responsibility for the credit union’s direction. The Board of Directors of St John’s Credit Union Ltd consists of seven (7) members.

The SUPERVISORY COMMITTEE OFFICERS serves on a voluntary basis and report to the membership. The Supervisory Committee at St John’s Credit Union Ltd consists of five (5) members. The committee’s principal objectives are to perform, or select a qualified individual to perform annual audit, member account verification and periodic internal audits of operating areas throughout the year.

Credit Committee
The CREDIT COMMITTEE is generally responsible for approving or disapproving all requests for loans. This includes reviewing each application, determining the member’s ability to repay the loan and establishing the appropriate security for the loan, if necessary. St John’s Credit Union Ltd Credit Committee consists of three (3) members.
